Legendary music composer Pyarelal mourns the loss of his wife, Sunila Pyarelal Sharmawho died on July 12 at the age of 78. The news was shared through a heartfelt announcement on social media confirming that she passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Singer Priyanka Mitra released the family’s statement, informing supporters of Sunila Sharma’s death. The statement read, “With deep sorrow and love in our hearts, we announce the peaceful demise of our beloved Amma, Sunila Pyarelal Sharma, who departed for her heavenly abode on July 12, 2026, surrounded by the warmth of her family.”

The family’s message remembered her for her grace, compassion and quiet resilience while thanking everyone who had supported them during this difficult time. The note continued: “Amma lived a life of grace, devotion and quiet strength, a pillar of unconditional love to all who knew her.
