As the countdown begins to July 24, when the official trailer will be released online, fans have been busy turning the concept art of the film into stunning first looks.After the grand event in New Delhi on Saturday, the makers unveiled a special comic that offers an in-depth look at the mythology-inspired world of the film. The illustrated book shows detailed concept art for key characters, realms and locations, giving fans a closer look at the ambitious adaptation. Soon after the images from the comic appeared online, social media users began transforming the illustrations into real-life depictions using AI image generation tools.Among the most shared recreations are those of Sai Pallavi’s Sita, whose comic appearance has been transformed into real life-action style portraits with intricate jewelry and traditional costumes. While one sees her in a red and gold embellished saree, the other sees her with a saffron leaf in her hands.Fans have also recreated Yash’s Ravana, which depicts the demon king as a battle-hardened warrior pierced with arrows and in his elaborate royal armor. These images, in turn, have served as the first images of the characters, especially after the makers had only introduced them in the ‘Rama First Look’ clip.Other AI-generated images include Kunal Kapoor’s Lord Indra in silver armor alongside Faisal Malik’s Airavata and Kumbhakarna.The comic book, unveiled during the film’s promotional event, also gives readers a detailed introduction to the kingdoms of Ayodhya, Mithila and Lanka, while revealing character illustrations accompanied by brief biographies and mythological backgrounds.Among the prominent characters Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, Adinath Kothare as Bharat, Nitish Sharma as Shatrughan, Kunal Kapoor as Lord Indra, Shobana as Kaikesi, Chetan Hansraj as Sumali, Anupam Kher as Jatayu, Kajal Aggarwal as Queen Mandodari, Faisal Malik as Queen Mandodari, Faisal Malik as Mukegas Tiwari Munet and A Mukegas Tiwara Prewarna R. Singh as Surpanakha.The book also featured artwork of the Hindu trinity: Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, along with detailed illustrations of majestic holy cities, grand architecture, royal courts and stunning cityscapes.While these images aren’t official footage, fans can expect to see something similar when the first trailer debuts online later this week following the film’s big debut at San Diego Comic-Con. Director Nitesh Tiwari, along with Ranbir, Yash and producer Naimt Malhotra are expected to attend the grand event in the US, after which the trailer will be released online.The makers have two trailers ready for release. The CBFC awarded both the 4-minute clip and the 4.15-minute clip a ‘U’ certification.
