Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company will make the Grok chatbot easier to use, here’s how:
Elon Musk Has always been extremely critical of the ChatGPT manufacturer Open artificial intelligence: It has deviated from the mission of developing artificial intelligence to benefit mankind and embarked on the path of profit. He advocates that artificial intelligence (AI) should be available to everyone, and now he announces his AI startup xAI: Will be open source: Grok chatbot This week.
“This week, @xAI is open sourcing Grok,” Musk said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
Simply put, open source software (such as chatbots) means that the software project is redistributable because everyone has access to all source code. One of the advantages of having open source software is that it gives businesses the flexibility to solve problems in multiple ways, rather than waiting for an in-house team to provide a solution.
“OpenAI is a lie”
Meanwhile, one user suggested that OpenAI should do the same.
“If OpenAI is ‘open’, then OpenAI should do the same,” the user said. Musk responded: “OpenAI is a lie.”
Musk wants artificial intelligence technology to be open source
Musk floated the idea of open source artificial intelligence in a podcast last November. On Lex Fridman’s podcast, Musk said he liked the idea of open source AI. “I’m generally in favor of open source, like partial to open source,” he said.
Shortly after his comments were published Artificial Intelligence Company: A company called xAI has released its chatbot Grok, which reportedly took four months to build. CEO of Open AI: Sam Altman: Was quick to dig into this and shared a post he built in Gronk: There is a tip on GPT Builder.
“GPT saves a lot of effort,” he said.
Musk clearly didn’t like the attack and responded with a long message saying “GPT-4 is as fun as a screen door on a submarine.”
