The paid pre-shows of the Akshay Kumar starrer were held a day before its official release to the public. The film collected Rs 3.75 crore through paid previews. Now, as per Sacnilk report, on day 1, the film minted Rs 15 crores in 10,892 shows.With this, the total India net collection stands at Rs 18.75 crore, while the total India gross collection stands at Rs 22.50 crore. Overseas, the film has grossed Rs 6.50 crore, taking its worldwide gross to Rs 29 crore.‘Welcome to the Jungle’ witnessed an overall occupancy of 26.46% on its opening day.
