In a 2017 conversation with Vulture, the famous director admitted that he was getting bored with David Fincher’s ‘Mindhunter’. He shared during the interview that it is one of the best shows he has seen and he would also love to do something in this regard.He added: “I’ll be there, 1am… click. It’s a bedtime story! I love the advent of Netflix and what it means for people like me. I’m fine. I’d love to do a ten-hour miniseries myself, personally. [David] Fincher has the best show on the air right now.”Praising the show’s creator, he said: “Fincher is a bit like me, very anal, compulsive, but he’s very good, and it shows that audiences want good. They don’t want shit; they want good.”

Ridley Scott talks about being obsessed with OTT

In the same interview, the director added that he is quite obsessed with OTT platforms. He commented: “It’s like a catapult, because they just want content and lots of it. Do they care so much about quality? Any less, and they should watch it. But they have $8 billion to spend next year, just on content. And I watch a movie every night, so it’s perfect.”

Regarding working with Ridley Scott
