The festivities began on June 15, 2026 in Venice, Italy, where guests gathered to encourage the couple’s traveling spirit at the welcome party. “We wanted everyone to feel the whimsy and joy of la dolce vita at some point, so starting in Venice felt so romantic and so much fun to plan because it’s such an iconic and rugged place,” Gibelli explained to the outlet. Two days later, the party took a ferry to Rovinj and spent a leisurely afternoon settling into the town.With the rehearsal dinner on June 19 at the edge of the cliff, Gibelli and Horstmann made sure to make the most of the splendid evening with a cocktail bar, hors d’oeuvres, dancing and toasts. The wedding festivities took place the next day at the Mausolej on St. Andrew’s Island off the coast of Rovinj. She walked down the aisle to Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” wearing the dream floral dress and accompanied by her father.Meanwhile, Horstmann wore a dazzling three-piece suit and walked alongside her mother. The couple’s 2-year-old son took on the responsibility of wearing the ring. “The mission was to get the other person to cry as hard as possible,” Horstmann shared. The celebration of love concluded with the reception at the historic Hutterott Castle by the sea. For their mini-moon, the newlyweds are planning a trip to Greece, while their official honeymoon includes a safari trip later this year.
