Ram Charan also shared a personal and joyful moment with his daughter, Klin Kaara. He said, “From children to adults, everyone came to watch the film. They made this hit even more special by calling me Peddi instead of Ram Charan. My daughter Klin Kaara used to call me Nanna, but after Peddi, she started calling me ‘Hey Peddi’. I told her that she can’t call her father that, and then she started saying ‘Peddi Nanna’.”Ram Charan also took the time to acknowledge the contributions of director Buchi Babu Sana and music composer AR Rahman. He credited Buchi Babu for shaping the project and helping bring the story to life.He said, “I should thank Sukumar garu for introducing me to Buchi Babu. Whenever I have doubts that I cannot discuss with my father, I call Sukumar garu to clear them. He is like a teacher who guides many students, and he also took me as his student and gave me valuable guidance.”Appreciating AR Rahman’s contribution, he said, “He gave great music, especially in the second half. His music brought great energy to the film and helped bring it closer to the audience. Hats off to Rahman garu. Peddi means a lot to us, and wherever you are, we love you. The dedication and hard work you have shown is truly amazing.”
The love of the audience defines the success of ‘Peddi’
Ram Charan also spoke about how the audience’s support shaped the film’s success. He said, “I remember a dialogue from Tagore’s film. Telugu people don’t like anyone that easily, but once they do, they love them to death. So no matter who says what and no matter what reviews have been written, this film is really not ours; it belongs to the audience.”
