Kris Jenner and attorney Robert Kardashian met when she was just 17 and dated for a while before marrying in 1978. The two were in the spotlight early on, as Kardashian was one of the lead lawyers on OJ Simpson’s legal team during his murder trial in 1995. They filed for divorce and separated in 1991; however, they continued to stay in each other’s lives. Robert Kardashian died in 2003 after a long battle with esophageal cancer.
