Netizens praise KJR’s debut
A viewer shared a detailed review on X, writing, “#Angikaaram REVIEW !! Angikaaram is a solid sports and court drama about an underprivileged sportsperson who fights a legal battle to represent India. The film does a great job of exposing the broken system and unfair rules within our sports governing bodies. KJR makes a fantastic transformation to play an impressive lead role, showcasing the lead role perfectly. Vasundhara Kashyap, who gives a supporting excellent as a dedicated coach.”

The review added: “In the second half, the story turns into a silent battle in the courtroom. It cleverly points out how officials often rely too much on numbers and basic evidence, ignoring the real, raw talent to be found at the local level. Although it offers a keen insight into the problems of sports management, the film mainly explains these problems through spoken dialogue rather than showing them naturally in the story. Still, it’s still an emotional film about a player’s silent fight for a fair chance against an uncaring system. A DECENT ONE.”
