PUNE: The Satish Misal Educational Foundation’s (SMEF) Brick Group of Institutes will hold its eighth annual event, ‘Brick 12 on 12’, on July 17 and 18 at the SARTHI Auditorium, Shivajinagar, bringing together students, alumni, architects, designers, planners and design experts.The two-day event will open on July 17 with student lectures from 3:30 pm to 8 pm, followed by the Brick Annual Exhibition, showcasing educational projects and design highlights. On July 18, the program will feature presentations by notable alumni, panel discussions on contemporary design, and an important lecture by architect Ar. Ajay Sonar, Co-founder of A for Architecture, internationally renowned designer and educator. An exhibition of student work will be open to visitors on both days.

dr. Raosaheb Latpate, Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology, Savitribai Phule Pune University, will be the Guest of Honor on the opening day, while Ar. Rajeev Vishwasrao, Founder of Rajeev Vishwasrao & Associates and a leading name in campus architecture, will launch the annual exhibition. Organizers said the event aims to provide aspiring designers, students, parents and industry professionals with first-hand knowledge of design education and its importance to the building and construction community.
