The 62-year-old presenter revealed the news via an Instagram post, explaining that he had been off air for the past week while undergoing a medical assessment.Nelson addressed his fans, listeners and the wider music community directly through his announcement on social media. “I wanted to let my fans, radio listeners and all of my Soul Nation matches know that I’m going to be taking a little break from my work commitments,” she wrote on Instagram. “Some of you may have noticed by now that I haven’t been on my daily radio this week.”
