TNPSC CTS 2026 Notification: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released the Combined Technical Services (CTS) Examination (Diploma/ITI Level) 2026 notification, announcing the recruitment of 839 candidates in 56 technical posts in various government departments. The online application process will start on July 17 and continue till August 15.The recruitment process also includes jobs in departments like Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Agriculture, Public Works, Highways and Employment and Training. The written exam is expected to be held on September 20, 2026.The Department of Rural Development has a large area of responsibilityAmong the announced jobs, the Department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj has many jobs. The agency has announced 149 jobs for Road Inspector and 129 for Overseer or Junior Drafting Officer in the department.Other major positions are 119 for Junior Training Officer in the Department of Employment and Training, 110 for Assistant Agricultural Officer at the Department of Agriculture and 101 for Junior Drafting Officer under the Water Resources branch at the Public Works Department.Eligibility is a selection processCandidates applying for the job must have a Diploma, Industrial Training Institute (ITI), National Trade Certificate (NTC) or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in a relevant technical or technical skill, depending on the job.Selection will consist of a written test followed by document verification. TNPSC has said that there will be no interview for these Diplomas and ITI-level technical courses.Application processAccording to the notification, the recruitment process started with the publication of the notification on July 7. The online window will open on July 17 and close at 11.59 pm on August 15.Eligible candidates will be required to submit their applications through TNPSC online exam website after the registration link. Candidates are advised to verify the educational qualifications, eligibility criteria and post requirements mentioned in the official notification before submitting their application forms.The committee will conduct the written examination on September 20, according to the published examination schedule.
