PUNE: The government should establish a new model of education to integrate the Warkari tradition into higher education, said Dr. Rahul Vishwanath Karad, President of MIT World Peace University (MIT WPU). Academicians and thinkers should come together to look at how higher education can be combined with the higher education of Warkari.”He said that the MIT World Peace University had already organized a “Warkari Sammelan” to encourage discussion on the issue and said the government could consider introducing new educational policies based on the discussions.Among those present were Usha Vishwanath Karad, Dr Mangesh T Karad, Executive President of ADT University, former Vice Chancellor of Nagpur University Dr SN Pathan, author and speaker Dr Sanjay Upadhye, along with university officials, faculty members and students.
