UP PCs 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has extended the online application deadline for the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) Examination (General/Special Recruitment)-2026 to August 3. The recruitment process is underway for 500 vacancies, and the online application process started on June 25, 2026, following the release of the notification.Applicants must complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process before submitting the application form. Applications are accepted online through the Commission’s official portal. The recruitment notification has been issued under Advertisement No. A-1/E-1/2026.Important dates for applicantsThe notification was released on June 25, 2026, and online registration began on the same day. The deadline for the payment of the examination fee and the submission of the online application has been extended to August 3. Candidates will be able to correct or revise the application submitted and to coordinate the full interest until August 10.Eligibility, application and application feesThe recruitment offers 500 posts under the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) Examination-2026. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Eligible age limit is 21 to 40 years as on July 1, 2026. Age relaxation will be applied as per the conditions mentioned in the official notification.The total application fee is Rs 125 for UR, OBC and EWS category candidates. SC and ST candidates have to pay Rs 65, while ex-servicemen also have to pay Rs 65. Disabled people have to pay only Rs 25 internet service fee.Method of selection and applicationSelection includes Preliminary Examination, Written Examination, Interview, document verification and medical examination.To complete the application process, candidates must first complete the One Time Registration and obtain an OTR number. They are then asked to verify their details on the board’s website, fill the online application form, pay the prescribed fee through the approved online payment methods and submit the application. Candidates are advised to keep a printed copy of the submitted application form for future reference.
