Aditya shared some never-before-seen behind-the-scenes photos of ‘Dhurandhar’ on Instagram and called Ranveer an ‘extraordinary actor’ in his post. He began the birthday message by writing, “Happy birthday Ranveer Singh. Some films stay with you forever. Dhurandhar will always be one of those films for me. Not just because of the story we told, but because I got to witness something that few directors ever get to witness.” I always knew you were an extraordinary actor. But this trip made me fall in love with the artist you are and even more with the human being behind the artist.”
Aditya Dhar recalls iconic scenes with Ranveer Singh
He recalled shooting scenes with Ranveer, adding, “There were days in Dhurandhar that I knew I was witnessing something incredibly rare. The 26/11 sequence. The final scene in the tea shop. Pathankot massacre The bomb house scene. The exterior of the court. Just to name a few. Shot after shot, scene after scene, you never looked for the easy pick. Every emotion hit exactly where it was needed. Every silence made sense. Every look had intent. Every beat was pitch perfect. The consistency was almost impossible to understand. It really felt like seeing someone touched by divine grace. As if Maa Saraswati herself had placed her hand on your head and blessed you with all the artistic brilliance she could. As a director, there are times you spend your entire career waiting to live. You gave me those moments again and again. I truly believe that what you have done in Dhurandhar is one of the best performances Indian cinema has ever seen. It’s not just a performance, it’s a force of nature. Fearless, imposing and so complete that it disappears into the character’s soul.”He concluded: “I have no doubt that people will be talking about this performance for years, perhaps generations to come. But what I’ll love even more is everything that happened between “Action” and “Cut.” The conversations The shared conviction. The tireless search to get every moment right. Somewhere along the way, you stopped being just my actor. You became my brother. Thank you for trusting me with your heart, your craft, and your madness. Thank you for giving Dhurandhar every bit of yourself. I couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve created together. i love you always Happy birthday, brother.”
