‘Supergirl’ Review
‘Supergirl’ is expected to earn $55 million at the box office.
According to a review of the superhero film by ET Times, it is: “An engaging and sincere superhero adventure that may seem generic, even unambitious at first glance, but gradually reveals an emotional depth that stays with you. In a genre increasingly weighed down by spectacle and excess, it excels at keeping things simple and human.”Additionally, Milly Alcock’s performance has also been praised, with the review stating that her performance in the film was fantastic and “She channels Kara’s latent rage and heartbreak with remarkable conviction, making her the beating heart of the film. She internalizes the trauma of losing her childhood and being forced to grow up too quickly. Beneath the unkempt hair, sarcastic humor and reckless bravado is a young woman desperately searching for a sense of home, longing for the innocence and softness that life stole from her all too soon.“David Corenswet also returned for many scenes as “Superman”, which was a welcome addition to the film.DISCLAIMER: Box office numbers and data for this article are compiled from various public and industry sources.
