A nine-year-old cricketer from England produced a rare feat during a local match by taking six wickets in six balls, leaving his teammates, family and coaches celebrating his achievement.Rohan, who plays for the under-nines team at Great Shelford Cricket Club near Cambridge, completed the double hat-trick during a match against Histon on Sunday, the BBC reported.The young bowler dismissed six batters with six successive deliveries, finishing with figures of 6 for 0. His spell helped Great Shelford secure a 26 run victory.Rohan said the celebrations after his last wicket were unforgettable.“It was very strong,” he said, as quoted by the BBC, recalling how everyone applauded and ran onto the field after the last wicket.For his performance, Rohan received the match ball and was named player of the match. The youngster said he played cricket for his school team and for Great Shelford.Talking about taking six wickets in six balls, he added: “It happens rarely.”His father, Narain, said that watching his son reach the firm on Father’s Day made the occasion even more special.“Getting a wicket is a big achievement for someone so young, but wicket after wicket I was so proud,” said Narain while speaking to the BBC.Team coach and match umpire Vishal Gupta said he had the perfect view of the spell.“I had the best seat in the house,” Gupta said. “I took off my umpire’s hat and threw it in the air with his team. Everyone was clapping on that.”
