The superhero film that is reportedly set to create new records at the Indian box office has recorded strong advance bookings in India, making it one of the most anticipated Hollywood releases of 2026.With three days still to go for its release, the film has grossed around Rs 25 crore through opening day advance bookings alone, according to a report on Bollywood Hungama. As per early estimates, the film has sold approximately 2.60 lakh tickets across India’s top three domestic multiplex chains and is slated to cross the 4 lakh ticket mark before it hits the theatres.

The superhero show has exceeded commercial expectations, with advance bookings pointing to a historic opening. Trade estimates suggest that the film’s opening day final presale could reach Rs 35 crore gross. This will put it on track to reach Rs 50 crore on opening day.According to Sacnilk, the film is said to be tracking an opening of Rs 50-60 crore. If it gets it right, it could be a major contender for ‘Avengers: Endgame’, which earned an estimated opening of Rs 65 crore in India.
‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Ticket Prices
The advance booking boost for the film comes despite the ticket price of around Rs 300, while select premium formats have gone up significantly. In some places, prices have even crossed the four-digit mark. Although higher than usual, the ticket price of the film will be lower than that of ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’.
‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ with a $500 million opening
The popularity of the “Avengers: Doomsday” trailer has also reportedly helped boost ticket sales globally. The film is currently chasing a massive opening of over $212 million to $255 million at the domestic box office and a worldwide debut of around $550 million, ahead of its July 31, 2026 release.
