However, unlike his last two social media posts about the student protests that had netizens buzzing, Salman did not explain what prompted this post, leaving room for speculation.The post also comes after Salman won the internet with his post urging activist Sonam Wangchuk to break her fast following PM Modi’s tweet about strict action against the culprits involved in the NEET 2006 paper leak. Khan tweeted, “Sonam, that’s it bro. Don’t expand this. Keep the spirit for another day if there is a need, which I doubt, eat something. If you want, you I will send food from home (sic).”

The actor also urged the students not to let their ongoing protests be hijacked politically. On Wednesday, he tweeted about the protests and violent clashes that erupted. He said: “It was such a peaceful movement, I feel so sad that it had to take a violent turn. My heart goes out to the students and their families who were injured. Paper leakage is a very serious problem, and I am glad to know that the children of our country have come together for a better education system and their parents have supported them. I really appreciate the stand they have taken, showing dedication, sincerity and desire to study hard and make their future and a greater and educated India. This walkout, this protest, is the right way to do it, and the students have done it peacefully.
