The makers of ‘Pluto’ have unveiled the official trailer of the upcoming Malayalam film that gives audiences a glimpse of a sci-fi comedy filled with humor, fantasy and unexpected adventures. Headed by Neeraj Madhavthe film features Altaf Salim as an extraterrestrial visitor. ‘Pluto’ is scheduled to open in theaters on July 30 and mixes science fiction with comedy.
Neeraj Madhav crosses paths with an alien
At the heart of the story is Vicky, played by Neeraj Madhav, whose life takes an unexpected turn after meeting Pluto, an alien who arrives on Earth from another galaxy. The trailer also hints that the film will balance comedy with emotional moments. It also explores the aftermath of an alien visitor arriving in Kerala, similar to what happened with Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’.
Hi Varghese The makeover becomes a topic of conversation
Apart from Neeraj Madhav and Altaf Salim, the trailer also highlights Aju Varghese, who plays a pivotal character. The supporting cast includes Arsha Baiju, Subin Tarzan, Dinesh Prabhakar, Vineeth Thattil, Nihal Nizam, Zaheer Mohammed, Nimna Fathimi, Sachin, Tushara Pillai and Vipin Atley.
An experienced technical team supports the film
‘Pluto’ is directed by Adithyan Chandrasekhar, while Niyas Mohammed wrote the screenplay. The visuals of the film were captured by cinematographer Vishnu Sharma and editing was handled by Sanath Shivaraj. Arcado composed the music, Rakhil was the art director and Stephy Xavier handled the costume design. Whether ‘Pluto’ manages to deliver a memorable sci-fi comedy remains to be seen.
