The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Cell has issued a warning to candidates participating in the OJEE 2026 counseling process after noticing discrepancies in the documents submitted by the applicants. The advisory body has called on the affected people to reschedule their applications immediately, warning that failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of the seats allotted to them during the recruitment process.The notification is particularly relevant to those seeking B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Plan, B.CAT, and Integrated MSc programs whose CBSE Class 12 papers show ‘RT’ (Repeat Theory) in the relevant subjects.
OJEE detects discrepancies in CBSE papers
According to the latest information, the OJEE Cell found that several programs have CBSE marks indicating ‘RT’ in one or more important subjects. Followers with ‘RT’ were declared inappropriate
The advisory committee has made it clear that candidates with ‘RT’ (Repeat Theory) pending in relevant courses do not meet the admission requirements.The committee has also pointed out that sometimes, forms with ‘RT’ status are marked as “Verified” during the verification process for administrative reasons. He has ordered such people not to continue giving advice.
OJEE provides strict guidelines for those affected
The council has given clear instructions to candidates whose jobs are different:Candidates with pending ‘RT’ are not eligible for admission. If their documents are already marked as “Verified” even though there is a discrepancy, they should immediately leave the counseling.If online withdrawal is not possible, candidates must notify the OJEE office in writing without delay.The committee emphasized that the candidates should not ignore the notification, as the discrepancy will be re-examined after the acceptance period.
Seat allocation may be canceled at the time of confirmation
OJEE has warned that any incorrect or inappropriate information left in the system may result in the withdrawal of the assigned seat during the confirmation period of the school or university.The advisory committee has emphasized that it will not be responsible for losing the approval if the candidates fail to stop or report the disagreement even after being warned.
The last day of Round 1 has added PG programs
In another notification, the OJEE Cell has extended the deadline for uploading the Round 1 document and paying the admission fee for M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Plan, MBA, MCA, MSc Computer Science and MBA (Working Professional) programs.Candidates can complete this process till 11:59 pm on July 13, 2026.The committee said that more time has been given to respond to the requests of the candidates and ensure that the admission process is smooth. However, it has explained that the entire counseling process remains unchanged and no further extension will be given.
