NIFT UG 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the NIFT UG 2026 round 1 seat allotment results on the official counseling portal, allowing applicants to check their allotment status online. Candidates can get the result by logging in with their NIFT UG number and password on the official website.Those who have been allotted seats in Bachelor of Design (BDes) and Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech) programs should download their provisional seat allotment letter from the portal. Along with checking their allotment, candidates must complete the commitment and pay the required admission fee within the time notified to them to retain their allotted seat.Reception procedure after seat assignmentThe counseling portal helps successful candidates to check their allotment results, download provisional allotment letter and complete admissions. According to the government notification, failure to pay the admission fee within the stipulated time may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat. Such candidates will not be eligible to participate in regular counseling sessions.NIFT Entrance Examination 2026 (NIFTEE) was conducted in February 2026 for admission to undergraduate and graduate programs offered by the National Institute of Fashion Technology.Round 2 process and selection is changedCandidates who are not allotted seat in round 1 will only be considered for seat allotment, provided they remain registered and fulfill the eligibility criteria.NTA has also announced that the application process for NRI Sponsored Seat in the second batch will be available on July 3, 2026, from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
