Mohanlal has sparked nostalgia among movie lovers with the unveiling of the 4K trailer of ‘Kireedam’, which is one of the most celebrated films in the history of Malay cinema.The ‘Drishyam’ actor shared the restored trailer on Twitter along with a simple caption that read ‘Kireedam 4k Official Trailer’. The newly released trailer presents Kireedam in a significantly enhanced format. The restoration was completed using an original 35mm film source. The project also incorporates Dolby Atmos sound.

Released in 1989, ‘Kireedam’ tells the story of Sethu, a young man who dreams of becoming a police officer and fulfilling his father’s aspirations. However, a single incident changes the course of his life.
