SI Rajasekhar built a prolific acting career that spanned over three decades. From the 1980s he appeared in more than 100 Malayalam films while also establishing a presence on television through several serials.His last film appearance was in ‘Oru Second Class Yathra’ which was released in 2015.
Memorable collaborations with Mammootty and Joshiy
Rajasekhar often worked with director Joshiy, especially in films with Mammootty. Some of his notable collaborations include ‘Sandarbham’ (1984), ‘Rajavinte Makan’ (1986), ‘Nair Saab’ (1989), ‘No. 20 Madras Mail’ (1990), ‘Mudra’, ‘Vazhiyorakazchakal’, entries in the Sethurama Iyer CBI film series and ‘Thappana’ (2012).
