Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s latest release ‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’ continued its strong second week run at the box office registering impressive growth on its second Saturday.According to S cnilkestimates, the film earned Rs 4.90 crore nett in India on the 9th. This is a 12.6 percent increase compared to its Day 8 collection of Rs 4.35 crore nett. The total Indian net collection of the film has risen to Rs 42.95 crore.Day 9 earnings came from approximately 2,211 shows nationwide. The strong performance also pushed the film’s Indian gross to Rs 49.72 crore.
Strong performance abroad
The Samantha starrer Ruth Prabhu also continued to attract audiences overseas. On the ninth day, the film collected Rs 1.25 crore in the international markets.As a result, the film’s total overseas gross has now reached Rs 21.85 crore. ‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’ has minted a worldwide gross collection of Rs 71.57 crore so far.
Occupancy increases at the weekend
On Saturday, overall occupancy stood at 42.94 percent, with night shows leading at 46.85 percent. The afternoon and evening shows also maintained healthy attendance levels.The Tamil version reported an overall occupancy of 39.07 percent. Evening and late night screenings performed well.The Telugu version continued to be the highest contributor for the film on the 9th, taking Rs 4.65 crore from the total net collection in India. The Tamil version added Rs 25 lakhs.Andhra Pradesh and Telangana emerged as the strongest markets contributing Rs 4.08 crore gross on Saturday alone. Karnataka followed with Rs 1.10 crore, while Tamil Nadu generated Rs 45 lakhs.
