Although he struggles to fit in with people half his age, things are starting to go well for him. However, when the party starts to go wrong and the group gets into trouble with the law, things start to change for him.From getting drugged to swimming with sharks, and even crashing a local yacht party hosted by a local mob boss. The group of five is in serious trouble throughout the film.Gradually, as the group comes together, Mason, the groom-to-be, begins to talk about his love for his fiancée and his loyalty to her, making Joe realize that the way he treated Jennifer was wrong and how she wanted to settle down after being with him for so long was not a big question. Throughout the film, Joe realizes little things about his life, including how everyone’s definition of fun changes with time and age, and that there’s nothing wrong with that.

The film ends with Joe finally realizing his true potential and worth. Instead of giving his boss another pitch that the boss might reject, Joe quits and instead starts his own advertising agency, which he can start from anywhere in the world. He also ends up apologizing to Jennifer after getting off his high horse. Not only that, but he ends up supporting her in her endeavors and trading for her so that she can continue her medical career without any hassle.
