Katy Perry was scheduled to headline the Werchter Boutique festival in Belgium on Saturday, June 27, 2026. However, extreme weather conditions led the government to regulate crowd-centric events. “Unfortunately my @WerchterBoutique set tonight cannot happen due to a government mandated cancellation due to inclement weather and crowd safety concerns,” she captioned a Instagram.“I was backstage at the show in the middle of hair and makeup when this news broke, and I was given no choice. I’m just as unhappy as you are. Unfortunately, this is out of my control, but the safety of 55,000 of you is always first and foremost,” he continued, sharing his displeasure at the circumstances. Additionally, the ‘Dark Horse’ singer apologized to the crowd and expressed her excitement to perform after nearly two decades.“I was looking forward to coming back after 17 years. I would even wear the same outfit from that 2009 show again. I love you all and please come home safe,” concluded ‘The One That Got Away’ star.
