The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the deadline for submission of new forms for UGNEET-2026 to July 30, 2026. The application is available for NEET candidates, who are eligible for admission to medical courses and have not yet written UGNEET through the KEA portal.KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna IAS informed the candidates that the last date of July 24, 2026, has been extended following the requests of the applicants and parents. The officials also explained that the NEET results have not yet been received by the KEA. Candidates should not submit details of their NEET number until the information is available.A new registration center is welcomed at the hospitalKEA has already opened new applications for admission to Medical, Dental and AYUSH courses in Karnataka for the academic session 2026-27. Candidates who missed the UGGET-2026 registration can apply through the new UGNEET-2026 link available on the KEA website.Applicants must complete the registration process, submit the online application form and pay the application fee to participate in the admission process. Candidates who have already registered for CET-2026 need not submit a new application. KEA will provide a separate link through which existing applicants can add their NEET score to their CET application.Linking NEET number and document verificationKEA said that the NEET number link will be provided after receiving the relevant NEET results. After the candidates register their NEET number, the document verification process will start as per the order given by the government.Eligibility criteria, minimum qualifying marks and category requirements will follow the criteria given by the competent authorities after the publication of UGNEET-2026 results.KEA has advised the candidates to read the UGNEET-2026 Information Bulletin carefully before applying. The bulletin contains details on eligibility, seat categories and requirements for different seat types.Advice for non-Karnataka and special selection candidatesNon-Karnataka candidates have to register on KEA website, provide personal details, pay registration fee, enter Class 12 machine information and upload marks card in PDF format through Marks Entry website.OCI, PIO, NRI and other national candidates, along with non-Karnataka eligible candidates seeking NRI Ward, religious minority or special seats of St. John’s Medical College, should make reservation and go for document verification at KEA, Bengaluru on the dates notified.All counseling rounds of UGNEET-2026, including Stray Vacancy Round, will be conducted online by KEA as per the guidelines of National Medical Commission and AYUSH Department.
