Having spent more than two decades in journalism, he said no actor had ever reacted to his reporting in this way, regardless of whether the coverage was flattering or critical.“I told him you can’t do that. He wasn’t willing to listen,” she said. After the exchange, Vickey decided to post the audio recording of the conversation on social media. Explaining his decision, he said: “I needed to let the public know that your hero is like this.”When asked what could have sparked Kapil’s anger, Vickey pointed to reports about the comedian’s alleged tardiness. “He had some problem because I was writing about him being late to the set. It happened. He used to be very late. The stars were waiting for him; he had canceled the shoots,” he said.
