JEECUP 2026 Guidance: Filling option 1 starts at jeecup.admissions.nic.in
The Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic), Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has started round 1 JEECUP 2026 counseling from June 25, 2026. Eligible candidates can now participate in the counseling process and fill in their college preferences and education through the official website, jeecup.admissions.nic.The counseling is conducted for admission to various engineering and diploma courses offered by the participating institutes in Uttar Pradesh. The pharmacy course counseling schedule will be announced separately.Candidates are advised to complete their application form by the closing date, June 30, 2026.
Guidance for JEECUP 2026 round 1 process
According to the official system, the result of allotment of seat 1 will be announced on July 1, 2026. Candidates who have been allocated seats will have to fulfill the eligibility requirements, including verification of documents and payment of fees, within the set time.

Candidates can follow these steps to participate in the counseling:

- Log in using your application number or login ID and password.

- Fill in as many choices as are allowed to increase your chances of getting a seat.
- Review everything carefully.

Who is eligible for JEECUP 2026 counselling?
The following are eligible to participate in counseling:
- Residents of Uttar Pradesh who appeared for UPJEE (Polytechnic) 2026 examination.
- International candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from an institute located in Uttar Pradesh.
- Children of Central Government employees serving in Uttar Pradesh.
Allotment of seats and verification of documents
The result of allotment of seat 1 will be announced on July 1, 2026. Candidates who will get a seat can choose the option of “Freeze” to confirm the allotted seat or “Float” to be considered for the next round.Candidates will have to complete the verification of documents in the election district between July 2 and July 5, 2026. Candidates who do not want to continue with their seat can ask to leave on July 6, 2026.
