The creators of the Vijay The ‘Jana Nayagan’ starrer has officially announced the theatrical release date of the film. After a long period of uncertainty regarding its release, it is finally slated to hit the big screens in just a couple of days.

The production house took to social media to reveal a new poster of the film and announced that the CM Vijay starrer will release on July 23. Sharing the poster, they wrote: “Tried by fire. Forged by time. Built for history. The harder the battle, the stronger the victory.”The newly released poster shows Vijay in a police uniform. He is seen standing confidently while holding a sword.For the uninitiated, the film was first planned for a January release. However, it was delayed due to censor issues with the CBFC. Later in April, the film also faced another setback after it was leaked online in HD quality. Despite these issues, the makers have now completed all the formalities and fixed the official release date.
