NEW DELHI: The AI4NetZero team at EnERG Lab, IIT Madras, will organize a three-day conference titled “AI in Action: Climate and Energy Systems Applications” from August 7 to August 9, 2026. The program will focus on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and Data Science in climate research, energy systems and renewable energy technologies.The meeting Aimed at students, researchers and industry professionals who want to understand how AI is being used to tackle challenges related to energy and climate change.Workshop to explore AI applications in electronic systemsDuring the three-day program, participants will be introduced to data-driven decision-making techniques and their role in today’s electronics. These sessions will cover AI applications in renewable energy forecasting, energy optimization, forecasting and climate modeling.Students will receive hands-on learning through Google Colab-guided courses and work with real datasets and reusable documents. A hands-on approach will help attendees understand how AI tools can be used to analyze dynamic data and create technology-based solutions.
