Tollywood star Allu Arjun and ‘Jawan’ director Atlee are working on the upcoming sci-fi film ‘Raaka’. It is already known that the makers are working on a big project as they work with international studios for high-end visual effects. According to the latest reports, the project is being made on a massive budget of Rs 1,000 crore and the makers are discussing an overseas shoot for a special cameo by Shah Rukh Khan.
The story of ‘Raaka’ set in two different worlds
According to a report in India Today, ‘Raaka’ will tell a story that is being set in two different periods. The first part will take place in a tribal Puranic Vedic era and the other is said to be set in present day.As the film is said to feature multiple female characters, the report further claims that Murnal Thakur will appear during the modern timeline of the film. while Deepika Padukone whoever plays the female lead will be part of the historical part of the story. In addition, Janhvi Kapoor i Rashmika Mandanna they are also said to be part of the same timeline as the ‘Pathaan’ actress.
Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo is yet to be shot
Interestingly, the report further shares an update on Shah Rukh Khan’s much talked about cameo in the film. The special appearance has yet to be filmed and will be filmed during an overseas schedule.

Talking about the other cast members, the project will also feature Chemban Vinod Jose, Yogi Babu and Femina George. There are also reports suggesting that Vijay Sethupathi is a part of the film but the makers are yet to officially confirm the complete cast apart from Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone.The music is being composed by Sai Abhyankkar.The makers are yet to announce the release date of the film.
