The new season will begin with an episode of more than an hour. According to reports, the premiere will feature the ‘Batalla de la Gola’, one of the most devastating and violent conflicts in the history of Ponent. The battle is expected to be a pivotal moment in the ongoing “Dance of the Dragons” storyline that has driven the series since its debut.
House of the Dragon Season 3 confirmed to have eight episodes
Like season 2, the next installment will consist of eight episodes. Showrunner Ryan Condal previously explained that the series moved from the 10-episode format used in its first season to an eight-episode structure in an effort to improve pacing and storytelling.
