Honda Alpha 0 Alpha electric speed test: interior, specs and more

Honda Cars India has once again been spotted testing its upcoming electric SUV. Based on the Honda 0 Alpha concept, this camouflaged prototype was recently spotted in Manali, showing off its cabin in more detail than before. The latest spy shots show a large horizontal infotainment touchscreen and a fully digital instrument cluster.

In the spy photos, the interior of the SUV can be seen through the driver’s window. Some of the interior highlights include a large freestanding infotainment touchscreen in the center of the dashboard and a fully digital instrument cluster located behind the steering wheel. The touchscreen is expected to feature Honda’s new user interface, and other expected features include wireless smartphone connectivity, connected car features, navigation and EV-specific features. Physical buttons for climate control and other functions can also be seen below. The steering wheel adopts a new multi-functional design, while the instrument panel adopts the simple style of Honda’s global 0 series models.Honda Alpha 0 was showcased for the first time at the Japan Mobile Show 2025. Honda calls the Honda 0 Alpha concept car “thin, light, and smart,” and this concept is clearly reflected in its styling. The SUV’s wide, upright stance gives it a strong presence, while the sharply angled front windshield and nearly vertical rear windshield serve as key design highlights. The window lines extend rearward and upward, blending into the thick C-pillar, giving it an MPV-like proportion and equipped with a sophisticated roof spoiler.

From a design perspective, the sleek fascia up front features an illuminated Honda logo and an integrated charging port, neatly bordered by stylish headlight units. A bold lower bumper transitions into muscular body cladding on either side, while aerodynamically styled 19-inch five-spoke alloys fill the flared wheel arches. At the rear, a wide U-shaped LED light strip surrounds the upright glass area, while a thick faux skid plate on the bumper completes the rugged yet futuristic appeal.Both the front and rear feature large screen-like sections integrating various functional elements. At the front, traditionally separate components – such as the headlights, illuminated Honda badge and charging port – are neatly unified within the screen area. The theme continues at the rear, with a unique U-shaped lighting signature that integrates the taillights, reversing lights and turn signals.
