Chetna Pande revealed that the success of ‘Haunted 3D’ came at the end of what he described as the “worst six months” of his life. The actress admitted she is still trying to come to terms with the film’s reception, which followed a series of personal struggles and years of facing industry rejection. Adding to the weight of the moment, Chetna shared that her mother is currently undergoing treatment for cirrhosis of the liver, while her partner and pet have also been battling health issues. With so much going on at home, she said her parents haven’t been able to celebrate and enjoy this milestone with her.

Speaking to India Today, Chetna said, “My partner was not well, my mother was not well and then my pet was diagnosed with a health problem. It seemed like one setback after another. He had almost forgotten what happiness looked like. I was in so much mental pain that I felt completely broken and at my lowest point. That’s why this moment feels even more special. I can’t believe that after going through such a difficult phase, something so beautiful can happen.“
Chetna Pande says every setback made her stronger
He called “Haunted 3D” a blessing and said its success has made him believe that things work out in the end. The actress looked back on her journey and felt that every difficult moment she went through was worth it. “I think we actors face a lot of things, from endless waiting to rejection. And then when you get a film like this, which also does such wonderful numbers, it feels like all my setbacks have been worth it. Every setback in my life that has broken me has made me stronger and prepared me for today. Now I feel like everything has happened for the right reason,” he said.

The success of ‘Haunted 3D’ seems like a dream for Chetna. After years of rejection, missed opportunities and being dropped from films even after being confirmed, seeing people love her performance as Sunheri means a lot to her. “It feels amazing. I still can’t process it. There was a time when it wasn’t even a premiere, so between now and this trip, it feels really, really special,” he said.

‘Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past’ has crossed the Rs 20 crore mark at the box office in just 10 days. The film was released along with ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’, ‘Governor’ and ‘Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata’.
