Best-selling author Harlan Coben’s books are being turned into a live-action series, and the cast has already been announced. Based on his book series featuring the well-known character ‘Myron Bolitar’, the show has already generated a lot of buzz online since the project was initially confirmed. Netflix has recently confirmed that the official cast of ‘Myron Bolitar’ has been announced, with actor Colin Woodell, best known for his work on ‘The Continental’, leading the new show as Myron Bolitar. They are joined by ‘Riverdale’ star KJ Apa, as well as Diane Guerrero, Jabari Banks, Chloe Fineman, Jamie McShane, Ben McKenzie and many more. The news also came as a surprise, as Fineman had announced his departure from ‘Saturday Night Live’ about a week ago.Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning writer and producer David E. Kelley is backing the project. Greg Yaitanes has also been confirmed for the series as he will take over as director for many of the episodes.

Myron Bolitar is one of Harlan Coben’s most famous characters. He first appeared in his 1955 novel ‘Deal Breaker’, which was followed by 12 more books in which he was the main character. Myron is a former college basketball star whose NBA career was cut short by an incident. The book follows as he grows up and reinvents himself as one of the industry’s leading sports agents. However, there is always a twist as his job also involves him investigating murders, threats, blackmail attempts and more.The author also talked about seeing all of his characters on the big screen as an incredible opportunity. It’s not the first time one of Coben’s books has been adapted into a live-action project. ‘I Will Find You’, ‘Fool Me Once’ and ‘Run Away’, to name a few, have been inspired by their iconic books and characters.
