Vijay’s much-awaited film ‘Jana Nayagan’ is an action drama that has generated debate due to its political theme. Recently, H Vinoth, the director of the film, spoke about the political message of the film. He mentioned that although it includes politics, it does not target or criticize any individual or political party.

This is a policy that speaks of unity and work for the people,” he said.He also explained the title, saying, “It’s not a blanket term. This is a film related to democracy, so we chose that title. The first poster mentioned “Torch Bearer of Democracy”.Talking about Vijay’s hand-cutting gesture seen in the trailer, he said, “It is necessary for the script and it is there. ‘Jana Nayagan’ long wait for censorship

Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’ marks his last film before focusing on his political career. Now he also serves as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. The film has been much discussed as it was initially supposed to be released in January. However, it faced a long delay in getting its CBFC certificate.The film was stuck with the censor formalities for months and during that time, the producers faced another challenge when it was leaked online.
