Business and the Arts continue to lead undergraduate admissions
The latest allotment data shows that commerce had the highest number of admissions with 19,799 seats, making it the most sought-after stream in Gujarat University this year.The arts stream was followed by 10,264 seats offered, reflecting the steady demand for community programs. Meanwhile, science courses recorded 2,540 admissions, maintaining a steady supply of university graduates.These figures show that although students continue to prefer formal education, their choices are increasingly influenced by job opportunities and industry demand.
Professional education testifies to the interest of students
Graduate programs also attracted a large number of applicants during the admissions process.According to TNN, the university offered 1,736 seats in Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and 1,128 seats in Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). The course continues to attract students who want industry-related training and career opportunities after graduation.The growing interest in management and computer-based programs reflects the increasing demand for skills-based education and career-ready qualifications.
Embedded software gaining strength
Combined studies also witnessed positive participation during the admissions process.The university offered 1,730 seats in various integrated programmes, while the integrated LLB course enrolled 281 applicants. In addition, 416 seats were offered in the Bachelor of Science program, according to the latest data.The steady response to integrated programs shows that many students are choosing educational options that combine undergraduate and postgraduate courses within a single framework.
