actor Fardeen Khan has shared a warm message for the veteran actress Farida Jalalremembering his long relationship with her and remembering the immense respect he had for his late father, Feroze Khanhad for the actress. The post came after the two actors recently reunited, with Fardeen describing the reunion as a memorable moment. Sharing a picture with Farida Jalal on Instagram, Fardeen looked back on the days when he met him as a little boy during the shooting of ‘Dharmatma’. He said those early memories have stayed with him over the years and expressed his happiness at reuniting with the veteran actress after a long gap.
Fardeen remembers his father’s admiration
In his emotional note, Fardeen revealed that Feroz Khan always spoke highly of Farida Jalal and deeply admired her talent as an actress. She also said that her father enjoyed working alongside her and held her in high esteem throughout her career. Fardeen wrote, “It was a pleasure to be reunited with one of the finest actresses in Hindi cinema after so many years. Farida Aunty met me as a child during Dharmatma and I have always remembered her fondly. Khan Saab thought highly of her as an actress and always talked about how much he enjoyed working with her.”
A reunion after years
Fardeen also opened up about reuniting with Farida Jalal and highlighted an interesting coincidence in their recent professional journey. Although they have been part of two projects together in recent years, the actors have not appeared in a single scene together. Unfortunately, this is the second series in which we work together without sharing a single scene. Maybe third time lucky.” Earlier in their careers, Fardeen and Farida worked together in the 2002 romantic drama ‘Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahein’. More recently, both appeared in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’, though they did not share screen space.
