Telugu actor To Akhil Akkineni he will next be seen in the upcoming village romantic action drama ‘Lenin’ starring alongside Bhagyashree Borse. As the film is announced to hit the theaters on July 10, the latest reports and online discussions suggest that the trailer could be released very soon.

According to a report by 123Telugu, the makers are planning to release the trailer on June 30, 2026. It is imperative to mention that an official confirmation has not been made by the team yet.‘Lenin’ is a highly awaited film especially for Akhil Akkineni as it remains his comeback after his last outing ‘Agent’ which was released in 2023. The film after its release turned out to be a disappointment.

Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, Lenin is a rural action drama with an emotional love story and a socially relevant theme.Interestingly, actress Sreeleela was originally part of the project. It even appeared in a first glimpse released by the creators. However, she later dropped out of the film due to reported scheduling issues, and Bhagyashri Borse joined the cast.

‘Lenin’ release delay

Talking about the release of ‘Lenin’, it has been delayed a couple of times as it was earlier scheduled to hit theaters on May 1st. However, the makers postponed the film after Ram Charan’s Peddi was slated to hit the screens on April 30.Announcing the decision on social media, the officials said, “With the arrival of our most beloved Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Peddi, we feel it is the right time to celebrate cinema together in a positive and wholesome environment.” They also said that the decision was taken because of the good relationship shared between Ram Charan and Akhil Akkineni.The producers later announced that the film would release on June 26, 2026. However, the film was postponed once again. It is now scheduled to hit theaters on July 10.
