Production on the final season will begin in late 2026 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Answering the mysteries of the recently released season, the final episodes will close the ‘Of’ chapter and will premiere in 2027, according to Radio Times. “We’re very excited to announce that we’ve officially started work on Season 5, which means we’ll get the chance to see our story through to its conclusion,” the official statement on Instagram said, before adding: “Which means questions will be answered. Answers will be questioned. And there’s sure to be a cascade of tears and terrors in between.” Additionally, producers John Griffin, Jeff Pinkner and Jack Bender thanked the audience for their immeasurable support and passion throughout the journey.

What to expect from season 5?

Harold Perrineauthe show’s lead actor, explained that delayed gratification is the best part of the plot. Although Season 5 hasn’t been released yet, subtle hints have been surrounding previous episodes. However, if the answers were so easy to find, the mystery would have ended long ago.“Here’s what’s been really great and creative about the way John has written [From]… Some of the answers, some of the clues, are so subtle that you won’t know for a long time,” he expressed to the company, continuing, “When they pay off, you’ll be like, ‘Oh, wow, that was, that was great.'”
