The news follows months of teasing from the actress, who has long hinted at Elektra’s big return.

Dressed in a red and black stealth suit, Elodie was spotted on the film set, officially joining the cast, including Charlie Cox as Matthew Murdock aka Daredevil, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage and Finn Jones as Danny Rand/Iron Fist.

According to images released by Getty Images, Yung was photographed showing off her character’s signature moves. The set photos seem to confirm his return to the role since the Marvel shows on Netflix concluded. It remains to be seen if she will play the villain in this new season or if she will rekindle her doomed romance with Daredevil.The new season will also feature the return of Wilson Bethel as the deadly assassin Bullseye.

Elektra resurrected again

However, the question remains as to how Elektra will re-enter the story, considering that her character seems to have met her end in ‘The Defenders’.
