Delhi University has released the schedule and locations of the Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) examination for undergraduate admissions, with the physical examination starting from July 16. The announcement comes as the university continues its graduate admissions process through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS).Aspirants for admission under the ECA section are advised to check the university website regularly for updates, as no email or SMS notifications will be sent regarding their examination period.
Individual test slots are released after the program management window
The university said that dates for group-wise and place-wise tests have already been announced, while a detailed schedule showing the date and time allocated to each candidate will be published after the regulatory window closes.Students are advised to download and verify their exam schedule from the official website of DU once it is released. The university also clarified that it will not send any personal communication to the candidates for the offered vacancies.
Aspirants are advised to plan their journey in advance
Delhi University has given special advice to candidates who want to go outside the national capital. Instead of waiting for individual examination schedules, such students are requested to book their travel tickets on any day that falls within the notified examination period of their ECA group.The university has also recommended that the candidates arrange accommodation near the place of examination. Those whose test date conflicts with the confirmed visit can request a change by writing to the university. Such requests will be considered, subject to availability within the trial period.
The process of testing is smart and location
The physical examination of various ECA groups will start on different dates in the selected colleges.
- July 16: Dance, Debate, Vocal Music and Theatre
- July 17th: Yoga
- July 20: Questions and Fine Arts
- July 21st: Creative Writing, Music, Digital Media and Theology
The university has offered special colleges of all kinds. Dance auditions will be held at Bharati College, while debate candidates will appear at Ramjas College. Acting auditions will be held at Miranda House, and vocal auditions will be held at Mata Sundri College for Women.Instrumentalists will attend Sri Aurobindo College (Day), written examination will be held at Hansraj College, digital examination at Maharaja Agrasen College, fine arts at Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, theology at Rajdhani College, quiz at Zakir Hussain Delhi College (Evening), and yoga at PGDAV College (Evening).Most of the tests are expected to continue for one week, except Sunday, when the yoga tests will be completed over two days.
There is no physical test for NCC and NSS applicants
The university has also clarified that applicants under the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and National Service Scheme (NSS) categories will no longer be required to take the test.Instead, their evaluation will be done through an official approval process.
ECA indicators and complaints window
According to the university, the marks secured by the applicants for the ECA examination are expected to be uploaded on the official website on July 25 or July 26.Once the marks are published, candidates will be given a two- to three-day complaints window to raise any concerns about the assessment.
The academic session will begin on July 28
