The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Class 12 2026 supplementary examination tomorrow, July 28, in examination centers across the country. The exam gives the students who have been placed in the divisional category another opportunity to clear the subjects they have not completed in the regular board exams.This year, around 1.63 lakh students were placed in the district category after the CBSE Class 12 board exams, which were held from February 17 to April 10, 2026.Candidates appearing for supplementary examination should carry their admit card, valid photo identification, and necessary documents to the examination center. They should also arrive at the venue on time and follow all instructions given by the organization carefully.

Tests for major subjects, including English Core, Hindi Core, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Political Science, Geography, Psychology, Sociology, Computer Science, History, Biotechnology, Entrepreneurship, Home Science, Applied Mathematics, and several language papers until 10:30 am: 30 am.For technical courses such as Food Production, Front Office Operations, Banking, Marketing, Health Care, Insurance, Fashion Studies, Business Administration, and others, the exam will start at 10:50 am and end at 1:30 pm.

Candidates should keep these tips in mind before appearing for the exam:
- Do not bring cell phones, smartwatches, or any electronic communication devices into the testing area.
- Possession or use of illegal electronic devices may lead to action under the Unfair Means (UFM) laws.
- Maintain discipline and follow all instructions given by the supervisor.
- Check the time of your examination carefully on the date of admission and your admit card.
- Students will be given another 15 minutes before the exam to read the question paper.
