Delhi University has rescheduled the third CSAS-PG 2026 admission process due to the delay in the high-level exams. Candidates have to complete acceptance of seats, verification of documents and payment of fees as per the revised schedule, while the university has also reserved the option of opening seats if seats are still available.

The University of Delhi (DU) has announced changes in the admission period for graduates of the third semester of the academic year 2026-27, announcing new dates for accepting seats, supporting documents, and paying fees in the Common Seat Allocation System for Postgraduate programs (CSAS-PG).The new admission calendar for DU has been released by the university on its official website on Saturday, July 12, where the process of allotment of seats has been delayed for those seeking admission under the CW, Sports, and Ward category of supernumerary quota. The university has warned all candidates to follow the new deadlines carefully.

Candidates should claim their allotted seats by July 13

According to the revised procedure, the candidates who have been allotted seats in the third round must accept the offer by 11:59 PM on July 13, 2026 through the official portal.After the candidates accept their seats, the concerned departments, centers and colleges will verify and approve the submitted information. The verification process will continue until 11:59 PM on July 14, 2026.Applicants whose admission is accepted will have to complete online payment by 11:59 PM on July 15, 2026 to confirm their acceptance.

Delhi University said that the revised schedule became necessary as the process of allotment of CW, Sports and Ward supernumerary quota was not finalized on time.The university issued the revised calendar to ensure that admissions in all categories are conducted simultaneously without affecting the meritorious candidates.

The university has also indicated that additional rounds of allotment of graduate seats may be announced if vacancies remain after the completion of the third round.Candidates are advised to keep a regular check on the official website of DU for information about vacant seats, additional tours offered and updates related to counselling.

Along with undergraduate admissions, Delhi University continues the undergraduate admission process through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for the academic session 2026-27.According to the information released by the university, more than 1.90 lakh applicants have applied for higher education, while 1,64,098 applicants have completed Phase 2 by submitting their program and preferences to the college.Admission is held for 71,624 graduate seats in over 73 programs offered by 69 colleges and departments.
