DU Admission 2026: Registration open for one year PG courses, MSc; The UG preference fill ends on July 11

The University of Delhi (DU) has started registration for one-year courses (PG) for the academic session of 2026. The university has also opened Master of Science (MSc) programs for those who qualify the Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) 2026.Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official DU PG portal till July 11, 2026.Students who are eligible for GAT-B 2026 can apply for the two-year MSc in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology for the 2026-29 academic session.

Who can apply?

The one-year undergraduate program is available only to students who have completed a four-year degree (UG) from the University of Delhi under the Undergraduate Curriculum Framework (UGCF) 2022, which was launched by the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.To complete the application process, candidates must enter their University of Delhi (UoD) registration number and date of birth.According to the university, admission to the one-year PG course will be based on a four-year bachelor’s degree, subject to the eligibility criteria mentioned in the admission letter.

DU PG admission for two years

Delhi University has received 9,500 applications for its two-year undergraduate programs so far.The entry point for this course will be open until July 5, 2026.The University will publish a three-part list of seats for Round 3 on July 9, 2026. Seats for career-related courses, including Master of Fine Arts (MFA), Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd), Master of Physical Education (MPEd) and Music programs, will also be announced on the same day.

Delhi University has also shared the latest updates for undergraduate admissions.According to the university, it has received 1,48,407 applications for DU Undergraduate (UG) Admission 2026, of which 62,524 candidates have completed the Phase 2 application process.The deadline to fill out scholarships and college interests is July 11, 2026.The first list of Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) UG 2026 will be released on July 16 at 5 pm.This year, Delhi University is offering admission to 73 undergraduate courses and 150 Bachelor of Arts (BA) programs.Delhi University has released the list of Bachelor of Technology (BTech) Admission 2026. Candidates who have been allotted seats must accept by July 8, 2026.Applications for the five-year integrated law program close on July 7, 2026.The university has also informed the students through its official X account (formerly Twitter) that the selection of the Phase 2 program will begin after the declaration of Semester 8 results. Candidates are advised to visit the DU website regularly to know the latest admission schedule and other updates.
