The Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET), which is part of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), has invited applications for various contractual services under PAB-approved projects for the year 2026-2027. The recruitment process is open to those interested in educational technology, research, eContent development, media, education, communication and project implementation.Candidates will work at CIET-NCERT, New Delhi-110016, on a temporary basis. The engagement period will continue until March 31, 2027. Eligible candidates must submit their applications on July 30, 2026, by 11 pm through the application process.Details of contract roles and activitiesCIET-NCERT has announced recruitment for various projects approved under Project Approval Board (PAB). The posts are temporary, and the number of positions may increase or decrease depending on project requirements.Candidates applying for these positions must ensure that they meet the necessary educational and academic qualifications as specified in their meeting. Activities related to research, teaching, education, extension services and eContent development will be considered especially for the school curriculum.Applicants who want to know the requirements for the post with a combined salary of Rs. 40,000 or above must submit supporting documents at the time of interview. These documents may include certified salary slips, bank statements or Income Tax Return (ITR) records for the period in which they are claimed to be professionals.Eligibility requirements and interview guidelinesCIET-NCERT has said that the candidates should provide details related to their qualifications and skills. Time spent pursuing M.Phil. or PhD degrees may not count as teaching or research for eligibility purposes.Applicants who are currently temporary or permanent must bring a No Objection Certificate from their employer. Without the certificate, the candidates will not be allowed to appear for the interview.Selected candidates may be required to join as soon as possible after completing the selection process.
