Children fall from moving school bus in Bengaluru with back door open – video
Five students were thrown out of a moving private school bus after the back door was thrown open midway near Gayathri Layout in KR Pura, Bengaluru, on Friday morning. Three children were injured in the incident. The children were sitting in the back of the car when the back door suddenly opened, causing them to fall onto the road. Fortunately, no car was coming from behind at the time, preventing an accident that could have been very serious. The traffic police later impounded the car. The first suspicion is that the back door was not locked properly before the car started its journey. The incident is under investigation.Earlier this year, a motorcycle loaded with more than 10 school children overturned on Harmu Road in Jharkhand. However, no child was seriously injured.People on social media have reported on the practice of carrying more children than allowed and questioned whether adequate checks are carried out on school buses.“In India, a school bus for 10 children will carry 20 children, thus putting their lives at risk. I have never seen such vehicles that the police oppose,” wrote someone on X.
