CBSE Class 10 Second Board Result 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) must announce the Class 10 Second Board Examination Result 2026. As of July 6, 2026, the board has not confirmed the date and time of the announcement, and the following link must be opened for official developments. Students who appeared for the second board exam are awaiting the announcement and are advised to save their entry notes to avoid last minute delays when the results are released.The Class 10 Second Board Examination was conducted from May 15, 2026 to May 21, 2026 under the newly introduced CBSE system. The examination was introduced to give eligible students another opportunity to improve their marks during the same academic session, where candidates were also allowed to appear according to the eligibility criteria. Although CBSE has not made an official announcement regarding the declaration date, the results are expected to be declared this week.More than 6.68 lakh candidates are waiting for the announcementThe second board exam received a total of 6,68,854 candidates. Out of them, 5,25,655 students pursued higher education, while 85,285 were enrolled as undergraduate students. Another 57,914 participants were trained in the control and room groups.CBSE will prepare the final result based on the best of two points. Under this system, the top marks secured by the eligible student in the first board exam or second board exam will be considered in preparing the final result.Students who were placed in the room category and who wanted to advance in three subjects were eligible to apply for the second examination. Candidates who have been placed in the Essential Repeat category, and who have failed or remained in three or more courses, are not eligible.The first board exam recorded 93.70 percent passAhead of the second group exams, CBSE announced the Class 10 exam results with an overall pass percentage of 93.70%. Out of 24,71,777 students who appeared, 23,16,008 qualified.Among the districts, Trivandrum and Vijayawada recorded the highest pass percentage at 99.79 percent each. Chennai followed with 99.58 percent, while Bengaluru registered 98.91 percent. Delhi West and Delhi East recorded 97.45 percent and 97.33 percent respectively.Among the school groups, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan scored 99.57 percent, followed by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya at 99.42 percent. Independent schools recorded 93.77 percent, government schools 91.43 percent and government aided schools 91.01 percent.
Ways to check results through DigiLocker
Students will be able to access their digital scores through DigiLocker when CBSE declares the results.Step 1: Go to results.digilocker.gov.in and login using your DigiLocker account.Step 2: Open the CBSE Class 10 Result section after the team has started the process.Step 3: Enter your board number, registration number and date of birth in the required fields.Step 4: Send information to check the digital time market.Step 5: Download the document and keep a copy for approval and document verification until the original certificates are distributed to the school.The temporary report card will include the student’s name, roll number, class, subject-wise marks, overall score and eligibility status. After this announcement, students will also be able to apply online to verify marks, get photocopies of the marked pages and request to review the original answers. CBSE will not publish merit list or merit list for Class 10 examination.
